UFC is trying to book Khamzat Chimaev vs Chris Weidman, according to Dana White, this is the fight that UFC is considering at this moment.
Chimaev has burst onto the UFC scene with three finishes in 66 days. “Borz” finished John Phillips with a D’arce choke in the second round of his octagon debut at UFC on ESPN 13 in July before turning around 11 days later with a first-round TKO win over Rhys McKee. After such amazing performances, he has become a big name in the UFC and he has called out many fighters. UFC is also trying to get him some big-name fighter who may possess some threat to him. Till now all of his UFC fights have been too easy for him and CHimaev has smashed all his opponents.
