Indian Boxing sensation Lalrinsanga Tlau aka Sangtea is all set to fight in Dubai for the second time in his professional career when he takes on Muhammad of Pakistan on February 26. The fight is being promoted by Mujtaba Kamal of Grassroot Boxing promotion and the fight card is being billed as an India vs Pakistan clash.
Lalrinsanga Tlau last fought against Georgia’s Ilia Beruashvili last October in a six-round clash. In that fight, Lalrinsanga defeated Ilia via TKO in round 4 after his corner waved off the fight.

Prior to that, Lalrinsanga was crowned as the World Boxing Council Youth World Super Feather Title in March 2021 after he defeated Ghana’s Eric Quarm.
Lalrinsanga Tlau became the third Indian to hold this youth world title following which he was given a significant bump in world rankings.
Former IBF world super featherweight champion Jose Pedraza also once held the WBC Youth World Super Featherweight title. So Lalrinsanga winning this title was a significant feat in the career of the Mizoram based fighter.
