Logan Paul’s invitation to compete in the UFC was not answered by Dana White.

Since his boxing battle against Dillon Danis in October 2023, “The Maverick” has not been spotted in action. Logan Paul dominated “El Jefe” that evening, winning by disqualification in the sixth round following the grappler’s unsuccessful takedown attempt. The YouTuber-turned-boxer declared his “retirement” from the sport after that victory. Paul is still competing, nevertheless, despite this.

The former amateur wrestler is currently occupied with WWE performances. There is some room for crossover because professional wrestling is a part of the TKO Group. Logan Paul expressed his desire to become the first WWE star to enter the octagon on his “Impaulsive” podcast. The 29-year-old has long expressed interest in competing in the UFC and has trained with athletes like Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa.

Logan Paul texted UFC CEO Dana White last year regarding the possibility of competing in the octagon. The YouTuber-turned-fighter said he wanted to compete in the historic UFC 300 event even though he wasn’t required to compete in the main event. In addition, Paul offered to compete on the undercard of the historic Sphere event that featured Sean O’Malley vs. Merab Dvalishvili in September of last year.

Logan Paul says Dana White, the CEO of the UFC, turned down his invitation to compete in the octagon

Although Dana White has expressed interest in allowing Logan Paul to enter the cage in the past, it appears that he has moved on from the concept. The UFC CEO allegedly didn’t even contact him back regarding the offer, according to “The Maverick.” Paul has no illusions about fighting in the organization anytime soon, keeping that in mind.

“I’d probably fight at 185, which is a tough f*cking weight class.” Logan Paul stated to interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall on his podcast. “At one [Alex] Pereira was [in the weight class], DDP [is the champ now]. It would’ve been fun to [fight] Izzy at one point. But my skill is wrestling, I am a wrestler by trade. Yeah, [I trained] with Paulo [Costa at the PI]. I could get one in, for the right opponent, but it wouldn’t be ‘DDP’ dude. I’m not fighting for a world title…”

He continued, “I told Dana [White] for UFC 300. I texted him and said, ‘Hey man, consider me available to fight on the undercard at the Sphere’. He basically completely ignored me. Which, I think, spoke volumes. I haven’t bothered him about this since.”
