1) A lot has been said about your previous fight against Avizo Lanamai where you knocked him out, pls tell me about that fight and when and where did it take place?
My fight against Avizo Lanamai took place in 2018 at an X1 International event in Kohima, Nagaland. The fight took place in Avizo’s hometown and I knocked him out in about 20-seconds. It was a semi-pro fight.
2) Tell me about your last fight at ACS where you scored a KO win?
I was basically waiting for the right moment and when the opportunity arrived in the third round, I took it and knocked him out. My opponent was also mostly a striker and he was throwing a lot of kicks, so it was a waiting game and as soon as the opportunity presented I landed a right hook and got the stoppage win.
3) Do you have any pro fight under your belt and would you like to take on some Pro Fights before taking on Avizo?
No, I haven’t had a professional fight yet. Also, it’s not about Avizo, I just want to perform on a good platform and that’s Matrix Fight Night. If they provide me with an opponent other than Avizo, I am fine with it. But since he won the last fight, that’s why I am challenging him and we already have a history.
4) Any message for Avizo Lanamai?
The position where he is now, he has earned that position and he has worked hard for it. I fully respect him and I don’t have any personal grudge against him, this is a fight business, So I have to challenge him. If he wins the fight, he will have all my respect, but I just want to face him.
