Tonight’s UFC Mexico City brought the Octagon back to Arena CDMX, and four competitors ended up receiving performance bonuses.

The main event on tonight’s fight card was a crucial men’s flyweight matchup between Steve Erceg and Brandon Moreno. The fight turned out to be an exciting 25-minute match. Steve Erceg was able to establish his range early in the second session, but Brandon Moreno got off to a fast start. Following five rounds of thrilling action, the judges in attendance unanimously decided in favor of “The Assassin Baby” after the fighters traded leather throughout the final three rounds. Moreno is in a strong position to win the title again after the victory.

The lightweight fight between Manuel Torres and Drew Dober is the co-main event of UFC Mexico City. Torres won the fight via TKO in the first round after dropping Dober with a right hand and then quickly dispatching him with some vicious hammer fists.

At the post-fight news conference after tonight’s bout, UFC executives declared that four combatants will receive performance bonuses.

Performance of the night: Ateba Gautier earned an extra $50k for his first-round knockout victory over Jose Daniel Medina in tonight’s UFC Mexico City featured prelim.
