Marvin Vettori, fresh off of the biggest victory of his career over Jack Hermansson at UFC Vegas 16 is now planning to get a fight with Darren Till in 2021.
Can’t wait to smash Darren Till’s mouth next year but for now enjoy Christmas @Mickmaynard2 @danawhite @ufc

Since the win, many have wondered what would be next for Vettori and it appears the Italian wants Till. To be clear, Marvin Vettori is happy to fight anybody in the UFC’s top-five middleweight rankings, but as he surveys the landscape, a few things stand out.
Although Vettori called out Paulo Costa after his win, it appears he has turned his attention to his fellow European. Costa’s manager revealed the Brazilian will be fighting Robert Whittaker, so if that is the case, Vettori vs Till makes sense.
Marvin Vettori is currently on a four-fight winning streak which started upon his return from a USADA suspension. Hermansson was his biggest win but during the run, he beat Karl Roberson, Andrew Sanchez, and Cezar Ferreira. He also went to a split decision with Israel Adesanya, which he has wanted the rematch ever since.
Marvin Vettori on UFC rankings
While he’s happy that his recent “Fight of the Night” win over Jack Hermansson was rewarded with a big move up the rankings, earning him the No. 5 spot in the UFC’s official list, Vettori (16-3-1 MMA, 6-2-1 UFC) is a little confused how Darren Till (18-3-1 MMA, 6-3-1 UFC) was boosted two spots and now sits at No. 4 and thinks the two might need to sort that out themselves.
“They just updated the rankings,” Vettori told MMA Junkie.“They put Darren Till No. 4, which makes absolutely no sense; 1-1 in the middleweight division with a split-decision win and very inactive. I don’t know. Two fights in the middleweight division, being 1-1 with that win being a split decision, it doesn’t make any sense to be No. 4. But he’s ahead of me in the rankings, and if that comes to fruition as a fight, I would love that.”
With the Till callout in place now, as well, “The Italian Dream” wants to make it clear he’s not picking or choosing anything. He just wants to face the biggest names available on his way to the top.
“It’s just funny sometimes,” Vettori said. “I look and I see what I say sometimes. They keep asking me about these questions, and it’s pretty easy to recognize the way I am. Basically, every time they ask me, I’m like, ‘Yeah, just anybody in the top five is perfect.’ I basically said every name in the top five. Jared Cannonier was left out, and I’m like, ‘Man, Cannonier can get some love, too, if he wants it.’ If they offer me Cannonier, I’m not going to shy away from that challenge either.”
