Matrix Fight Night 5: A treat for Indian MMA fans!
Srikant Sekhar is considered by many as one of the best Indian MMA fighters. He skyrocketed in the Indian MMA scene with an upset submission win over ONE FC fame Rajinder Singh Meena. He then extended that with a submission win over fan favorite and highly-regarded Jason Ramesh Solomon.
Speaking in an interview with The MMA India a few months ago, Sekhar expressed his fight to fight Jubli. He claims the fight would a ‘big’ fight.
“The thing is what I’ve been looking into is the concept of belt championships. I have some friends who are looking to make fights for belt championships for different weight classes, but I am definitely looking to fight for a belt championship next, and in that case, I would really like to fight Anshul. Because he has at the top of the rankings and will be a big name fight.”
Jubli, on the other hand, has an undefeated record of 3-0. He made his professional debut against Sanjeet Budhwar at MFN 1. He then went on to have two wins against Amit Raj and Rajith Chandran.
Mann and Dahiya met for the first time at Matrix Fight Night 3 back in December 2019. The duo went back and forth for a hard-fought draw. They’ll get to settle their score at Matrix Fight Night 5. Dahiya has quite a lot of experience with a record of 14-4-1. Mann, on the other hand, has a record of 5-2-1.
