UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway was on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show, where he talked about his trip to Dublin as well as his back and forth with Conor McGregor. The Champion is set t0 fight in a weightclass above the one where he is currently holding a Championship at UFC 236.

At UFC 236, Dustin ‘Diamond’ Poirier will be facing Max ‘Blessed’ Holloway in a fight to determine the new Interim Lightweight Champion. The fight was offered to Tony Ferguson in the beginning, but when he refused, Poirier, who had been vocal about not having a good fight, gladly stepped in.

On the show, Ariel Helwani talked about Max Holloway’s trip to Dublin. He said that it appeared that on his trip Holloway went to Jameson Distillery and other places in Dublin and asked him if he was trying to bait Conor McGregor.

Holloway said that Dublin was a beautiful city and that he had enjoyed his trip there. However, he went on to say that he was a competitor and this was the sort of thing that he did. However, he admitted that Conor McGregor was the type of person who would return the favour by showing up in Hawaii one day.

He said that the entire thing was ‘all fun and games’ and something that he enjoyed.
