Conor McGregor didn’t congratulate Jose Aldo for the win but acknowledged the atmosphere in the arena.

Unlike Conor McGregor, Max Holloway the present Featherweight Champion congratulated Jose Aldo for the win and called him “King of Brazil”.

Jose Aldo tweeted, “Not just king of Rio. King of Brazil. King of defending champs. Congrats Ze Aldo. Nothing but love for you my bratha”.

Max Holloway has defeated Jose Aldo twice, at UFC 212 and UFC 218. Both time Holloway won via third-round TKO. Max Holloway is among one of the two fighters in UFC and WEC who has defeated Jose Aldo, the other fighter being Conor McGregor.
Though with wins like this over Jose Aldo, Max Holloway still considers Jose Aldo the greatest featherweight of all time.
