Conor McGregor is just six days away from one of the biggest fights of his career. He will fight Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 on October 6, 2018, for the UFC Lightweight championship.
As part of hyping the fight, McGregor spoke to Ariel Helwani last day. During the interview, he talked about a string of topics including his potential trilogy fight with Nate Diaz.
“Nate Diaz will always have a rematch off of me. No matter what happens I will always give that man gave his rematch. He gave me a rematch, I will give him a rematch. When it will happen? I don’t know. We will complete that trilogy, no doubt about it,” McGregor noted. (via FanSided).
Diaz and McGregor have faced off twice inside the octagon so far. The first fight saw Diaz stop McGregor while in the second fight; the Irishman secured a decision victory. In the interview, McGregor also mentioned that he would love to fight Anderson Silva one day. Nevertheless, he will have a huge task on his hand this Sunday when he fights Nurmagomedov.
