UFC bantamweight fighter Casey Kenney has ended up in the bad books of Megan Anderson (11-4) after making some controversial comments on a recent podcast and Anderson has lashed out at Kenney on social media.

Former Tachi Palace Fights (TPF) and Legacy Fighting Alliance Flyweight champion Casey Kenney (16-2-1), who is ranked 15th in UFC’s bantamweight division recently made an appearance on the “Timbo Sugar Show” with hosts Sean O’Malley and Tim Welch, where Welch asked him if he would “smash” Megan Anderson or not.

Kenney: “Probably not, man. She’s not too…well, I mean if it came down to it and it was like, you’re 5 a.m., 4…she’s a ‘5 a.m.-er,’ ‘4 a.m.-er.’ Just us two hanging out…”
Welch: “She’s piggy-backing you — “
Kenney: “I’d be like f*ck it, let’s do it.”

Megan Anderson states Kenney spoke about her in an “utterly degrading way”

This conversation from the podcast went viral on Twitter and caught the attention of Megan Anderson, who did not receive Kenney’s comments in a good light and railed at him with a tweet.

“I guess MMA is a line of work where you can publicly talk about whether you’d have sex with a coworker in an utterly degrading way and face zero consequences,” the 29-year-old Aussie tweeted.

Terming Kenney’s comments as “disgusting behaviour”, Anderson further stated its ‘unfortunate’ that Kenney is going to featured along with her in UFC 259, where she is slated to face UFC featherweight champion Amanda Nunes.

I see I was wrong and I’m sorry: Casey Kenney issues an apology to Megan Anderson

However, soon after Anderson put out her statement, Kenney followed up with an apology in her tweet, admitting that he was wrong and also wished her luck for her upcoming bout.

A former Invicta FC Featherweight champion, Anderson made her UFC debut against Holly Holm at UFC 225 in June 2018 in Chicago, where she lost the match via unanimous decision.

Her last appearance in the octagon dates back to 29th February last year at UFC Fight Night: Benavidez vs. Figueiredo in Norfolk, Virginia where she knocked out Norma Dumont Viana.

Kenney won on his UFC debut against Ray Borg at UFC on ESPN: Barboza vs. Gaethje in March 2019 and was featured in the preliminary card of UFC 254 against Nathaniel Wood where he won via UD.
