Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping has accepted the boxing challenge made by the hottest boxing sensation Jake Paul. All this started when Michael Bisping had jokingly said in an interview that he can knock out Jake Paul. Now Jake Paul has decided to make his callout off Michael Bisping. Jake Paul posted a video on his social media platforms and made a formal call out for the former middleweight champion. He also made some remarks about Michael Bisping’s eye-sight.

“Dear @bisping, I challenge you to stop hosting your struggling podcast, get licensed to fight, and box me. Let’s see if that UFC belt and all the respect you have can help you beat me in a boxing match.”

“I get why he’s mad at the new kid on the block, whatever, talking all this sh*t,” Paul said in a video posted to his social media. “When he looks at his bank account, guys, you may not know this, but he only sees half of it, so he really thinks he made half of that amount of money since he only has one eye, but the eye jokes are not funny. (Eye) truly don’t think it’s funny. (Eye) think it’s mean. And (eye) am sorry.”

“Now Michael, I am not just the type of person to talk sh*t without backing it up, so if you can get licensed with your one eye and old ass and all that crazy sh*t you got going on, I would love to fight you. Let’s see if that championship that you won and all the respect you have from the fight community can really get you through a boxing match with me, because I bet it can’t. I will whoop your old ass.”

“So, do I want to fight Jake Paul?” Bisping said. “Listen, here’s the thing, I had a great career. I’m very happy with what I accomplished. I’m happily retired. I’m very, very happily retired. But I do miss the thrill of competition — and I don’t see Jake Paul as necessarily a threat. I retired from fighting because I only had one eye and I didn’t want to risk my other eye. In boxing, with bigger gloves, against Jake Paul, I don’t really see him as a threat. So Jake Paul, beating you up sounds like fun.”

“Of course you are a big star, and God bless you, well done to you. I’m not hating. Well done to you, you’ve done great things, all jokes aside, because I am kind of joking. You’ve done great, you’re earning a lot of money, you’re a big star, you’re getting a lot of pay-per-views and stuff like that. So for that reason, I probably would. I probably would, but we’ve been here before. He sent an email to [Bisping’s manager] Audie Attar, Paradigm Sports management, or his manager did, asking if I would fight him, offering $500,000. I said double it, add pay-per-view, and we’ll see where we go. Never even got a response. So he’s doing the same thing again here.”
