Former UFC middleweight Michael Bisping has signed a new four-year contract with the UFC as their fight commentator.
As usual, it’s the trio of Joe Rogan, Jon Anik, and Daniel Cormier who are the special commentators for most of the UFC PPV events. It’s guys like Dominick Cruz, Paul Felder, and Michael Bisping who handle the UFC Fight Nights and other such events. Among all this, it’s Michael Bisping who adds the fun to the table with his witty and sharp analysis.
Bisping is known for speaking his mind and is also one of the best trash talkers in the game. Now he gets to use those skills in the commentary booth as he gives his special touch to everything he says. He also has an amazing fighting IQ that he uses to describe the fighting situations and analyze them better for the fans who are watching at home. Recently he was off the table for a time but he came back with Paul Felder for the UFC on ESPN 30 event.
Michael announced his signing of the 4 years contract this Thursday.
“Pleased to announce I’m signing a new 4-year contract with the ufc to continue my role as commentator. Beyond grateful for this role. Big thanks to @danawhite I really am obsessed with this sport and calling fights for the biggest fight promotion in history is a real honor for me.”
Michael was evenly making headlines during his feud with UFC superstar Conor Mcgregor. They had engaged in a heated Twitter brawl where they both took shots at each other. Though Michael was taking the fight quite easy it was Mcgregor who was very aggressive in the Twitter battle.
Michael Bisping made some serious comments on Conor and his legacy which eventually pissed off Conor.
“No you don’t,” Bisping responded to Conor’s tweet about making money off Bisping;’s fights. “You’ve never collected a penny of commission off me, mate. I’m not going into details but that’s just that. This was going to be my response. I don’t know what is getting deleted quicker, Conor’s tweet or his legacy, because they’re both disappearing down the f—ing pipe. I’m not going to do that. You know, I’m not going to get into it publicly on social media, like I’m f—ing arguing with some 13-year-old kids on Call of Duty.”
