UFC welterweight and fan-favorite Mike Perry is offering fans the chance to be in his corner for his next fight.

A welterweight slugfest is headed to UFC 255 as he will take on former welterweight champion Robbie Lawler on November 21. Perry’s corner has been a hilariously infamous topic across the MMA community. In his last fight against Mickey Gall, ‘Platinum’ opted for only one corner person, his girlfriend Latory Gonzalez.

This time around he’s willing to add another person to his corner. However, there’s a price to pay! Not figuratively, but literally, as for the right price, Perry will allow a fan to be on his corner. (via BJPENN.com):

“Whoever gives me the most money can be in my corner with @latory_g ,…”

Many people were dismissive of the fact that ‘Platinum’ opted for only his girlfriend to be in his corner. However, the results showed something else as he put up the best performance of his career. He was able to stuff takedowns of Gall and also dropped him in the second round.

Lawler vs. Perry, a treat for the fans!

A fight between Lawler vs. Perry is a paradise for fans. Perry first called Lawler out in September 2017. Lawler, however, was only fighting ranked welterweights.

‘Ruthless’ recently has been on a four-fight losing streak. Platinum, on the other hand, looked the best he has ever looked in his last fight against Mickey Gall. Therefore, UFC believes this would be a good time to match the two.

To his defense, Lawler has been fighting tough competition with his last four losses coming against studs like Rafael Dos Anjos, Ben Askren, Colby Covington, and Neil Magny. All four opponents have nullified his offense with their constant pressure. Therefore, it will be interesting and entertaining to see someone like Perry who will actually engage with Lawler.

Perry is 4-6 in his UFC career. However, he’s a way better fighter than that. He has constantly been an entertainer for the fans.
