UFC welterweight Mike Perry sent a stern warning to middleweight star Darren Till via Twitter saying that he is going to ruin his career.
Darren Till and Mike Perry have a teasing relationship and they consistently take shots at each other on social media.“Platinum” is ready to meet “The Gorilla” inside the Octagon. Mike competes in the welterweight division and Till is up a weight class at middleweight. However, Platinum is willing to move up to 185 pounds to get his hands on the Gorilla.
However, after that proposed contest failed to come to fruition, Mike Perry and Darren Till appeared to form a friendship and even began sparring together.
Mike took to twitter and gave a warning to Till that if they fight he will ruin Till’s career and will make him spit out teeth.
You said it years ago @darrentill2 and you were right. You and me were meant to fight. I’m going up to middleweight and I’ll be small and fast and you’ll be big and slow. I’m gonna ruin your life. You’ll be spitting out teeth much sooner than expected… 👿 🔪

Platinum tweeted: “You said it years ago [Darren Till] and you were right. You and me were meant to fight. I’m going up to middleweight and I’ll be small and fast and you’ll be big and slow. I’m gonna ruin your life. You’ll be spitting out teeth much sooner than expected.”
Mike Perry is coming off a unanimous decision over Mickey Gall in his most recent effort this past June, a victory which snapped a two-fight losing skid. He has a large task ahead of him before a potential fight with Till.
He is scheduled to take on former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler at UFC 255 on November 21. On the other end, Till is set to fight Jack Hermansson in the main event of UFC Fight Night 185. Till has gone just 1-3 over his past four-fight overall, with his lone win in that time coming over Kelvin Gastelum by way of split-decision.
Mike Perry wants a cornerman
Perry’s last fight saw him claim a unanimous decision win over Mickey Gall in the co-main event of UFC on ESPN 12 in a fight that saw him compete with only one corner person, his girlfriend Latory Gonzalez.
Ahead of his upcoming fight with former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler at UFC 255 on Nov. 21, Platinum (14-6 MMA, 7-6 UFC) has stated that he’ll put the second spot in his corner up for grabs for the highest bidder, prompting Till to respond on social media with his pledge to be the winner.
It is unclear just how serious Mike Perry is about this offer to let some random person into his corner. However, Darren Till is quite serious about that fact and wants to throw in the towel.
As for the prospect of Till cornering Perry at UFC 255, Dan Hardy said it might be to Perry’s advantage, as opposed to having a random member of the public manning the ice and bucket during the fight.
The situation between Mike Perry and Darren Till is really interesting.
