Bellator 199 featured an electrifying matchup as Bellator Light Heavyweight champion Ryan ‘Darth’ Bader took on former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight champion Muhammad ‘King Mo’ Lawal as a part of Bellator’s Heavyweight Grand Prix at the SAP centre in San Jose, California.
The co-main event was no less as former UFC veteran and PFL welterweight champion Jon Fitch made his Bellator debut against Bellator standout Paul Daley. Other fights on the main card included former UFC heavyweight Cheick Kongo vs Javy Ayala, well known freestyle wrestler Adam Picco vs Lee Morrison and talented lightweight prospect Adam Piccolotti vs another prospect in Carrington Banks.
