Conor McGregor’s teammate and SBG Ireland product Cian Cowley is set to make his Brave Combat Federation debut. Cowley will fight at the promotion’s upcoming event, Brave 13 in Belfast, Ireland.

Currently holding a professional record of 0-1 will be locking horns with Daniel Olejniczak (1-1) at the event. The event is currently scheduled to take place on June 9, 2018, at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Cowley was a member of the group that stormed into the Barclays Arena ahead of UFC 223 and attacked the bus that was carrying the UFC fighters. As a result, Cowley along with former UFC Lightweight champion Conor McGregor was charged with assault for the involvement in the attack. The attack saw McGregor and his team throwing various things including a dolly into the bus.
Due to the attack, UFC was forced to cancel three fights from the pay-per-view. While he has a fight scheduled, Cowley is also set to appear in court with McGregor on June 14.
Career so far
Cowley’s professional MMA debut came back in May 2017 when he fought David Khalsa at BAMMA 29. The fight did not end well for Cowley as he was submitted midway through the first round.
Prior to this, he had some good outings at the IMMAF World Championship where he picked up a few wins.
As for Brave Combat Federation’s Brave 13, the fight night will see Bantamweight champion Stephen Loman defend his title against Frans Mlambo. This will be the first title defense for Loman after his huge win over Gurdarshan Mangat which in turn crowned him the champion.
Mlambo, meanwhile, is on a three-fight winning streak after picking up wins over Felipe Efrain, Michael Deiga-Scheck, and Jalal Al Daaja. Interestingly, his last defeat came against Loman back at Brave’s inaugural event, Brave 1: The Beginning.
