PFL: Popular MMA managers Ali Abdelaziz and Abe Kawa involved in physical altercation backstage at PFL PLayoffs 1

Mandalay Bay events centre featured the action packed PFL 2019, playoffs 1 last weekend.

However the fighters weren’t the only people who engaged in a fist fight as renowned MMA managers the infamous Ali Abdelaziz and Abe Kawa were involved in an altercation backstage.

“Unfortunately, I don’t have any details on what happened,” PFL EVP of business affairs and general counsel Jim Bramson told MMA Junkie. “We were obviously focused on the action that was going on inside the cage. It was kind of a riveting evening.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department provided the following statement to MMA Junkie.

“No enforcement action was taken regarding the second subject, who was also cooperative.

“There were no significant injuries.”

Abdelaziz is known for getting into social media banters and altercations with fighters like Conor McGregor, Tyron Woodley, etc. Abdelaziz, CEO of Dominance MMA, works as a manager for fighters like Khabib Nurmagomedov, Henry Cejudo, Kamaru Usman. Kawa, vice president of First Round Management on the other hand, serves as a manager for fighters like Jorge Masvidal, Demetrius Johnson and many more.
