MMA pioneer Kirik Jenness slated for commentary duties at Brave 10

Brave Combat Federation officials announced that MMA pioneer Kirik Jenness will be the color commentator for the promotion’s first-ever trip to Jordan. Jenness will be in the booth for Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises, on March 2nd and will make his Brave commentator debut at that date.

Jenness joins longtime play-by-play commentator Cyrus Fees for the card, headlined by a Featherweight title fight, as Elias Boudegzdame defends his world title against Poland’s Jakub Kowalewicz. Four Jordanian stars are also in action, as Jarrah Al Selawe faces David Bear in a Welterweight duel; Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady meets Charlie Leary at Lightweight, and Bantamweights Jalal Al Daaja and Nawras Abzakh take on Filipino Crisanto Pitpitunge and Finland’s Abdul Hussein, respectively.

Kirik Jenness brings an extensive background and knowledge of the sport. The American commentator is considered an MMA pioneer, working in the industry since its No Holds Barred days and in a variety of roles, from a fighter (with a record of 2-0) to a manager, trainer, and founder of MixedMartialArts.com and The Underground Forum. He has also written two books about MMA and has been the third man inside the cage in professional bouts.

Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises marks the promotion’s first show in Jordan, home to some of Brave’s most decorated fighters, and the seventh country to host a Brave Combat Federation event, after Bahrain, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, India, Kazakhstan, and Mexico.
