Indian MMA star Mohammed Farhad is set to fight Pakistan’s Uloomi Karim at BRAVE CF 47, which will take place on March 11 in Bahrain.

Mohammed Farhad signed a long term contract with Brave Combat Federation last year that will see him fight at BRAVE multiple times over the next few years.

A knockout artist with an extensive striking background, Mohammed Farhad holds a professional record of 11 wins and only three losses. All of his three wins under BRAVE Combat Federation’s banner came by way of knockout or technical knockout.

The last time Mohammed Farhad stepped into the BRAVE CF Arena, he beat Kushal Vyas via first-round TKO in his home country of India, back in November of 2019. Mohammed Farhad was scheduled to fight in 2020, but it never came to fruition.

On the other hand, his opponent Uloomi Karim is a veteran of 10 fights and holds a .500 record inside the cage. His last fight took place at BRAVE CF 17 back in 2018 where he lost via decision to Jeremy Pacatiw. Prior to that, he lost via decision to Emran Tarakhil via decision.

Uloomi Karim also holds a win over Indian MMA fighter Yadwinder Singh WSOF Global Championship held in the Philippines in 2016.

Mohammed Farhad is ready for a three-round battle

1.) What is your gameplan going to be heading into this fight?

My plan for the first time in this fight is to play all 3 rounds.

2.) You’re fighting a Pakistani fighter in Uloomi, who is an experienced fighter but is also a sporting rival? Do you have any pressure on performing well given the history between the two countries?

Any fighter for me is the same opponent belonging to any country, I fight and give respect to my opponents at the same time, that’s what martial artists do.

I have done this before fighting a Pakistani, at the beginning, it was pressure, a lot of pressure but now I know it’s the same. Experience after all. India vs Pakistani will always be the hype between the 2 that’s what makes this special.

Fights will be streamed live and free on bravecftv.com starting at 7 pm India time.
