Daniel Cormier is no stranger to gifts and awards. Over the course of his career, he has received numerous recognitions. The latest addition to this long list came thanks to the Madison Square Garden.

The people at the Historic arena decided to give Cormier with a thoughtful memento ahead of his UFC 230 showdown with Derrick Lewis this weekend. Cormier proceeded to post the picture of the memento on Twitter and explained why it was so special for him. You can see the tweet from Cormier below.

Cormier will be fighting in the Arena once again this weekend. As mentioned earlier, he locks horns with Derrick Lewis at the event with the Heavyweight championship on the line. Cormier is now 21-1 in his career with his only loss coming against Jon Jones. Lewis, meanwhile, is 21-5 and had defeated Alexander Volkov at UFC 229.
