Khabib Nurmagomedov might have embedded his training roots from childhood in the art of wrestling and Sambo which have helped his transition into a Mixed Martial Arts superstar today but his love for football(soccer) has always stayed inside his heart.
His presence was noticed last month in the the ceremonial start of the Russian Premier League kickoffs between his local team Anzhi Makhachkala and CSKA Moscow.He had been very vocal about his love for football. Along with that Khabib is often seen playing football with his teammates in and after training and was also in media reports when he met superstar Cristiano Ronaldo from whom he got a T-shirt as a gift.
On Wednesday evening Khabib was spotted in the crowd watching a UEFA Champions League clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool in Paris.

When asked by the French media correspondents about his probable prediction in the match before the kick-off, Khabib called the exact results citing that PSG will beat Liverpool by 2-1.
He said,“Thank you so much, guys. This is my first time when I come to Paris with friends and I am very excited about this match.I know it’s a very important match for Paris St.Germain and Liverpool is a very tough club. Right now they are in very good shape. It’s going to be a very good match.”
On asked about him being a big football fan, Khabib responded,“For the last 22 years I know all the soccer stories. When France won the world cup 20 years ago,I knew all the players who played there,even now.”
And Lastly,he gave his prediction on the game,“My prediction? 2-1.I think Paris Saint-Germain are going to beat Liverpool. This is my prediction.”

Khabib also did join the PSG team after their victory in their locker room celebration and shared it as his Instagram story.Although Khabib did celebrate PSG’s victory with the football players, Khabib had previously praised Liverpool forward Mohammad Salah for being a great player and a brilliant representative of the Muslim youth.
