UFC superstar Nate Diaz has responded to the UFC welterweight prospect Vicente Luque’s callout. Vicente Luque after his recent wins over top guys took a moment to call out one of the biggest superstars in the game today, Nate Diaz. Luque mentioned Nate’s name and stated that he feels like this is the perfect fight for him and also the perfect time to fight Nate as Luque is riding an amazing four-fight winning streak. He stated that he has called out Nate on several occasions but he is yet to respond to the callout.
Vicente Luque is currently the No.4 ranked UFC welterweight fighter and is riding an amazing four-fight winning streak with wins over top welterweight contenders and also a former champion. In his last fight, he fought Michael Chiesa who is a no.7 ranked welterweight fighter. Chiesa was also coming into the fight with 4four-consecutive wins in his bag. In an unexpected scenario, the submissions artist Chiesa got submitted by the striker Luque in the very first round of the fight. The result of the fight was very surprising to everyone. Even after being the no.4 ranked fighter in the division, Vicente is not chasing the title fight at moment but instead, he wants a scrap against Nate Diaz.
“I want to take this time to also call out Nate Diaz. I called him out in the past, and he didn’t respond. I think right now I got a big win, I’ve got a great streak coming on, and man, my style, it matches perfect. I’m going to go forward, I’m going punch everybody in the face and try to get that knockout every single minute. And I think Nate is a perfect fight. Let’s go,” Luque said back in March after his win over Woodley.

Nate Diaz last fought against the top-ranked welterweight fighter, Leon Edwards. The fight was an absolute war between two of the best fighters in the division. Though Leon got the better of Nate in the entire fight at the very last moment of the fight, Nate Diaz cracked Leon badly and was about to finish the fight before time ran out. Leon was declared the winner by the decision but Nate stole the show with his last moment flurry. Now he is looking to fight again in December and there are a lot of options for him to scroll around.
