UFC 244 went down as one of the biggest fight cards of the year. It took place at the Madison Square Garden in New York City and had the President of the United States of America seating cage side.

Although POTUS sat cageside only for the main card, he was present at the Arena and was watching the prelims alongside UFC President Dana White. The card itself was stacked with great fights from top to bottom.

There were a total of 12-fights on the card and seven of them ended via stoppage. However, amongst all Nate Daiz, Gregor Gillespie, Andrei Arlovski, Brad Tavares, Chance Rencountre, and Makwan Amirkhani were the ones to face the lengthiest suspension. Diaz suffered a nasty cut in his fight for the BMF title against Jorge Masvidal which resulted in the doctor stopping the fight. Gillespie was brutally knocked out in the first round by Kevin Lee in the main card opener. Gillespie was knocked out unconscious with a brutal leg kick.
