UFC superstar Nate Diaz has stated that he has no interest in fighting the Conor McGregor trilogy anytime soon and he has got some reasons for not fighting Conor. Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor are two of the biggest names in the MMA world and when they compete against each other it turns out to be the biggest fights in UFC history. The duo has previously fought twice. They first fought at UFC 196 and then at UFC 202 with both the PPVs entering the top 10 UFC PPV list. The UFC fans have always wanted the third fight between them but looks like the trilogy fight between McGregor and Diaz will be off the table for a while.

Nate Diaz is openly looking for an opponent to fight and former two-time UFC lightweight title challenger Dustin Poirier is the front runner for this race. Nate Diaz is always questioned about his trilogy fight with Conor but Nate has now put all those questions to rest for a while by saying that he is not interested to fight Conor at this time.

“I’m not fighting Conor until his leg grows back and he beats some people so we know he can even fight still till then Can I get on January card @ufc Thanks”

Conor McGregor in his last UFC appearance fought Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight. The first round for McGregor was not going well as he got dominated by Dustin on the ground. But what followed changed the narrative of their fight completely as Conor broke his foot in a bizarre accident as his bone broke and he stepped on it while turning his feet at a weird angle. The doctor came in to take a look and called off the fight. Dustin Poirier was then declared the winner of the fight by TKO via doctor stoppage.

Nate Diaz

Nate Diaz is coming off two back-to-back losses against top welterweight contenders, Leon Edwards and Jorge Masvidal. He is now looking to compete against Dustin Poirier who is fresh off a title fight loss against current UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira. The fight between Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier makes perfect sense but looks like there are some obstacles coming in the way of this fight. The duo wanted to fight at UFC 270 but due to the negotiation process, the fight may take place at UFC 271. While this duo might fight soon, Conor McGregor is hoping to make his return by the end of the summer of 2022.
