UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor was appreciated by many for putting the sport of MMA on the top pedestal and was also complimented for making his professional boxing debut against the greatest of all time, Floyd Mayweather.

The Notorious one fought Floyd Mayweather in a valiant battle which earned him a lot of respect and appreciation. But Nate Diaz has nothing but hatred for the Notorious one.

Nate Diaz appeared to have zero respect for what his arch rival had accomplished. Diaz went on Instagram to express his despise towards the Irishman.

“He punched himself out the same way he lost in the UFC there was no learning goin on.. #overpromotion bullshit get off the nuts this the shit I’m talking about
Bruce Lee would’ve never lost like that.”

McGregor had posed like Bruce Lee during the pre-fight face off of the last press conference of MayMac tour.

Diaz took a shot at McGregor cardio problems who had gassed out in his fight against McGregor and Diaz himself.

McGregor lost his first fight against Diaz in the second round due to a rear naked choke but won the second fight by successfully taking Diaz to the distance.

Despite his victory in the second fight, McGregor had gassed out and was criticized for lacking cardio. Moreover, many thought Diaz had also won the second fight.

McGregor’s team had stated that the reason for his loss in their first fight against Diaz was due to inefficient use of energy. And McGregor also pointed out the fatigue being the major cause for his loss against Mayweather.

McGregor has stated that he would like to face Diaz in a trilogy fight to put an end to their rivalry. But this time he has mentioned it has to be at 155 pounds. The last two times the duo had fought was at 170 pounds.

Even McGregor’s striking coach Owen Roddy had stated his interest in seeing his student fight Diaz for the third time. “I would probably like to see Diaz 3, but obviously you’ve got Ferguson and Lee fighting for the interim belt,” he said on The MMA hour. “If he’s to fight MMA again, it will probably have to be the winner of (Ferguson versus Lee).
