Nate Diaz was set to make his return to the octagon at UFC 230 against Dustin Poirier. However, the fight was cancelled by the UFC after Poirier suffered an injury.
While appearing on the MMA Hour show on Monday, Poirier opened up about the injury and noted that he attempted to battle through injury.
“This is something I’ve been dealing with the last few camps, and it just progressively got worse. And then I did something with it this camp to where you know, like, I can still move around on it, I can still train, but if, say, I do a sprint, the next two days my range of motion is going to be horrible and I’m going to be in a lot of pain. It just got too bad to keep pushing at this point with it,” Poirier said.
Nate Diaz, however, did not take it well and made use of his Twitter page to take a shot at Poirier.

Poirier didn’t waste much time to react and had a tweet of his own. You can see the tweet below.
If anyone knows about losing the war it's you… you've lost half of them that you been in. https://t.co/ovrDu6JkVF
