The highly anticipated five-round welterweight fight between Nate Diaz and Leon Edwards has been postponed from UFC 262 which was scheduled to take place next weekend at the Toyota Center in Houston Texas.
The fight will now take place at UFC 263 in Glendale, Arizona which will take place at the Gila River Arena on June 13.
Nate Diaz suffered a minor injury which will prevent him from competing at UFC 262.
The news was first reported by Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports.

Leon Edwards last fought against Belal Muhammad at UFC Fight Night event earlier this month and the fight ended in a No Contest. In this fight, Leon Edwards accidentally poked in the eye of Muhammad following which he was unable to further continue fighting.
This was Leon Edwards’ first fight in nearly eighteen months. Prior to that he fought against Rafael Dos Anjos at UFC on ESPN 4 and defeated him via unanimous decision. He was also scheduled to fight Tyron Woodley in March, but the fight got cancelled following the global lockdown and travel restrictions because of the surge in coronavirus.
