Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal fought each other earlier this month at UFC 244 which took place at the Madison Square Garden in New York City. The fight was for the BMF belt.
Jorge Masvidal defeated Nate Diaz via TKO[Doctors Stoppage]. Many fight fans didn’t like the stoppage and neither did the fighters themselves. Now, Nate’s elder brother Nick Diaz is looking to avenge his brother and wants to fight Jorge Masvidal in 2020.
“I’ll fight anybody,” Nick Diaz said on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show. “This guy [Masvidal] can do anything he wants to do right now to make the most money possible.
“I’m like, you know, do the damn thing. … I’m doing my part, you do yours. They can do their part and then the show could go on.”
Nick Diaz also has a preferred venue in mind for his return. He said that he wants to fight Masvidal at the AT&T stadium, which is the home of Dallas Cowboys.
“You know, it’s on you Dana,” Diaz said. “It’s on you, UFC. … that’s on them. It’s in your hands now. Cowboy Stadium.”
The AT&T stadium has a capacity of 100,000 and has hosted many boxing matches featuring the likes of Canelo Alvarez, Manny Pacquiao, Errol Spence Jr etc.
