Shavkat Rakhmonov has found himself a brand new admirer, and its none other than MMA personality Nina-Marie Daniele, who has a witty way to describe the UFC Welterweight superstar.
One of the most discussed MMA fighters of this year, Rakhmanov has established himself as one of the best 170-pounders in the game. The 3rd ranked fighter in the division, known for his dominating ground game, has also emerged as a title contender, while many see him as a future UFC champion.
Aside from his in-cage progress, “Nomad” has also made a reputation of being a “silent, smiling killer of few words” due to his cold and composed attitude that he brings along with his commanding presence in the Octagon.
Nina-Marie Daniele, the social media star and MMA personality, recently shared a post on X regarding an interview she did with Rakhmonov following his win over Stephen Thompson at UFC 296 on December 17th.

Shavkat Rakhmonov says he would choose cannibalism over veganism if he’s stuck in an island
During the interview, Nina had asked the Kazakh fighter to say something “nice” about his opponent.
Nina asked Rakhmonov, “I’m doing a video that is, you have to say something nice about your opponent, but you can really just say whatever you want.”
“I can only say that he seems like a nice guy, seems like a good guy,” the welterweight rssponded.
During the same interview, Nina also asked Rakhmonov about his opinion about a theoretica situation- of being stuck on an island with friends and choosing between cannibalism or veganism.
“We’re stuck on an island. You can choose veganism, or you can eat your island mates and assert dominance. What would you do?” asked Nina.
“Cannibalism,” Rakhmonov responded with a smile. “Not everyone can do it.”
