Indian Boxing sensation Nutlai Lalbiakkima is all set to fight for the WBC Asia light flyweight title tomorrow in Dubai in an event which is being billed as ‘Countdown to Middle East Crown 4‘. Nutlai Lalbiakkima is fighting against the Philippines’ Jayson Vayson at the World Trade Center. Nutlai is fighting for the coveted WBC Asia title in just his fifth professional fight. The Mizoram-based boxer is already ranked No.1 in India by Boxrec and No. 126 globally.

The event is being promoted by Roshan Nathaniel and Dunstan Rozario of DJMC boxing promotions. The event is being sanctioned by the Kazakhstan Federation of Professional Boxing.

Nutlai Lalbiakkima last fought against Pakistan’s Fida Muhammad in an India vs Pakistan fight card promoted by Grassroot Boxing Promotion under the promoter Mujtaba Kamal. Nutlai brutally knocked him out in the second round of his fight.

Prior to that, Nutlai in November of 2021 against Gerttipong Kumsahwat and knocked him out in the second round to successfully defend his IBA Minimumweight Intercontinental title. Nutlai put on a dominant performance against the Thai boxer.
