Tawanchai PK Saenchai secured a hard-fought victory over the #3-ranked contender “Smokin” Jo Nattawut in the main event of ONE 167 at Bangkok’s Impact Arena, broadcast live in U.S. primetime on Friday, June 7, to retain his ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title. For most of the first two rounds, Tawanchai maintained pressure with his left kicks while Nattawut struggled to find his range and momentum.
However, in the third frame, the contest began to resemble their first encounter from October last year at ONE Fight Night 15. Nattawut started targeting the champion’s lead leg with low kicks and followed up with right punches, which began to affect Tawanchai’s left eye.
The championship rounds followed a similar pattern, with the PK Saenchai Muaythaigym representative applying pressure with striking combinations while the challenger persisted with his aggression through low kicks and punches.
After 15 minutes of grueling action, the judges awarded Tawanchai the victory via majority decision, further improving his Muay Thai and kickboxing record to 133-31 while successfully defending his belt for the third time at One 167.
Tawanchai defends his title by majority decision over Jo Nattawut, but looked the most beat-up I’ve ever seen him. Nattawut is no joke. #MuayThai #ONE167 #Kickboxing #MMA #OneChampionship

In the co-main event of One 167, ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon secured an electrifying decision win over Denis “The Bosnian Menace” Puric in their 141.25-pound catchweight kickboxing bout. The Thai superstar began in a fiery fashion, showcasing his speed and footwork to entertain the sold-out crowd in the first round.
In the second frame, Puric responded well and forced Rodtang to engage in close quarters. The duo exchanged several wild strikes toward the end, with Puric countering Rodtang’s body shots with some big hooks.
The third round followed a similar pattern, with the Bosnian-Canadian landing heavy combinations while Rodtang demonstrated his famed resilience. The judges rewarded the 26-year-old a unanimous win at One 167 for his hard work, improving his fabled career record to 272-43.
