ONE Championship returned to the United States for the second time when Colorado hosted ONE 168: Denver on September 7, and it didn’t disappoint fans at all.

In the main event, “The Kicking Machine” Superlek Kiatmoo9 took only 49 seconds to dethrone ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Jonathan Haggerty with a highlight-reel knockout.

Haggerty came out firing on all cylinders at Ball Arena, but his aggression was well defended by the Thai megastar in the opening seconds. When the British star tried to launch a right punch, Superlek caught him with a ferocious elbow as he fell to the ground and was unable to answer the referee’s eight-count.

Superlek was awarded a US$50,000 performance bonus from ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong as he extended his record to 139-29 while also adding the Bantamweight Muay Thai crown to his ONE flyweight kickboxing strap.

The co-main event was between two greats of the game when Seksan Or Kwanmuang came out on top against British legend Liam Harrison with a TKO finish.

Harrison landed several leg kicks in the opening round, but it was Seksan who changed the course of the match in the second stanza. A strong right hand found its mark as Harrison went to the canvas before Seksan finished the encounter with two more knockdowns.

“The Man Who Yields To No One” grabbed his ninth win at ONE Championship while also bagging the performance bonus. Harrison, for his part, left his gloves in the circle and closed the curtains on his illustrious career.
