ONE Championship has unveiled the main event for ONE Fight Night 37, featuring two-division king Roman Kryklia attempting to make history against undefeated Turkish knockout artist Samet Agdeve on 8 November in Bangkok, Thailand.
The towering Ukrainian will put his unprecedented triple-crown bid on the line when he challenges for the inaugural ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing World Championship against the 21-year-old Agdeve.
At 33 years old and standing 6-foot-7, Kryklia already holds the ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing and Heavyweight Muay Thai World Championships.
Victory would establish him as the first fighter in ONE Championship history to hold titles across three different weight classes and two striking disciplines.
The Dubai-based fighter has been unstoppable since joining ONE, compiling a perfect 7-0 record with six finishes. His career spans nearly three decades after beginning martial arts training at age 6 in Ukraine.
Kryklia’s championship collection began with the inaugural ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing World Championship in 2019, followed by the inaugural ONE Heavyweight Muay Thai World Title in 2023.
His promotional victories include Muay Thai wins over Alex Roberts and Lyndon Knowles, plus kickboxing triumphs against the likes of Guto Inocente and Iraj Azizpour.
Agdeve presents a formidable challenge with his perfect 17-0 record featuring 12 knockouts.
The Turkish striker’s youth and undefeated record create intrigue against Kryklia’s experience and pedigree.
Another fight features American MMA fighter Gilbert Nakatani seeking his first promotional victory when he faces Indonesia’s Eko Roni Saputra in flyweight MMA action.
The 31-year-old Nakatani has provided tough opposition in previous outings against Yuya Wakamatsu and Jeremy Miado but fell short both times. He faces the 34-year-old Indonesian veteran, who brings seven promotional wins with seven finishes to this encounter.
ONE Fight Night 37 promises to deliver historic moments as Kryklia pursues unprecedented championship glory while established contenders seek to further their credentials on martial arts’ biggest stage.
