ONE Championship took over Bangkok, Thailand’s Lumpinee Stadium once more on 20 June with another scintillating night of martial arts action.
ONE Friday Fights 113 offered up 11 more intriguing bouts across MMA and Muay Thai as more stars looked to punch their ticket to the world’s largest martial arts organization’s global roster.
The main event saw Yodlekpet “The Destroyer” Or Atchariya emphatically show his punching power as he dismantled Donking Yotharakmuaythai in the first round of their flyweight Muay Thai showdown.
The four-time Muay Thai World Champion had a difficult time settling into the bout as Donking was quick to cement himself with heavy calf kicks and peppering jabs.
But that wouldn’t last for long. With a mighty two-punch combination out of nowhere, Yodlekpet managed to turn Donking’s world upside down as he broke his four-fight winning streak at 2:21 of round one.
Meanwhile in the night’s featured bout, unbeaten Russian star Asadula Imangazaliev moved to 9-0 as he scored his fourth knockout in five fights in ONE, blitzing through Denputhai Superlek Muay Thai in flyweight Muay Thai.
The 21-year-old pressured Denputhai from the first bell with all the confidence one could muster. He attacked him with chopping low kicks and looping punches before dropping him with a left straight near the end of round one.
Sensing the finish, Imangazaliev went straight for the jugular. He put the Thai striker on the ropes before dropping him with a highlight-reel worthy spinning left elbow.
Somehow, Denputhai emerged to his feet. But once he did, the Russian crusher forced an end to proceedings at the 52-second with slick combinations to improve to 9-0.
