Bangkok’s legendary Lumpinee Stadium erupted on June 27 as ONE Friday Fights 114 delivered another spectacular showcase. The weekly series continued its reign as combat sports’ hottest property.
Eleven bouts spanning Muay Thai, kickboxing, and submission grappling kept fans glued to their seats. Multiple knockouts and statement victories highlighted a card that reinforced why this series has become habitual viewing.
The main event saw Suablack Tor Pran49 turn back the clock against rising star Sangarthit Looksaikongdin. Their 140-pound kickboxing clash became a masterclass in veteran savvy versus youthful ambition.
Sangarthit started fast, but the 28-year-old Suablack weathered the storm brilliantly. He found his range in the middle rounds, dropping his compatriot twice with thunderous left hooks and spinning kicks to secure a commanding unanimous decision.
Earlier, Muangthai PK Saenchai settled an old score with Seksan Or Kwanmuang in 140-pound Muay Thai warfare. The grudge match lived up to expectations as both warriors brought their A-games.
Seksan pressed early with his trademark clinch work, but Muangthai had all the answers. The “Elbow Zombie” sliced up his rival with precision strikes, opening cuts and battering legs en route to a unanimous decision triumph.
Two rising stars punched their tickets to the big leagues on this memorable night too.
Aslamjon Ortikov announced his arrival in stunning fashion, stopping veteran Petsukumvit Boi Bangna in their flyweight Muay Thai thriller. The 22-year-old Uzbek prospect showed ice-cold composure, ending the two-time Rajadamnern Stadium champion with a picture-perfect teep to the body at 2:33 of round three.
Ramadan Ondash also earned his stripes with a sensational comeback knockout of Chartpayak Saksatoon. The 18-year-old Lebanese phenom from Tiger Muay Thai absorbed an early knockdown but roared back to flatten his Thai opponent with a devastating left hook at just 0:33 of round two.
Both young guns secured US$100,000 contracts to join ONE’s elite global roster.
In other major news, Nabil Anane received official recognition as the undisputed ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion. The 21-year-old Algerian-Thai sensation was elevated from interim status following his dominant victory over Superlek Kiatmoo9, cementing his position atop one of the sport’s most competitive divisions.
