ONE Championship returned to Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium with a stacked Asia primetime event on Friday, June 28, featuring many of the best strikers on the planet.

Prajanchai PK Saenchai secured a hard-fought victory over Jonathan Di Bella in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 68 to become a two-sport king by winning the ONE Strawweight Kickboxing belt.

Di Bella started the match well, using his 5-inch reach advantage to keep Prajanchai at bay and employ punches and kicks against his foe. The approach seemed to work in the first two rounds, but in the third round, the PK Saenchai representative found a way to counter his opponent with clinical straight left punches and kicks.

The world title was up for grabs in the championship rounds, and both fighters sensed it. Prajanchai continued using his punches and kicks with precision, but Di Bella responded with his own hand combinations.

After five grueling rounds, it was not an easy decision to pick a winner, but all three judges were in favor of Prajanchai. The unanimous win improved his career record to 343-52, and he became a two-sport ONE World Champion along with his ONE Strawweight Kickboxing belt.

In the co-main event, ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 defeated Kongthoranee Sor Sommai in a flyweight Muay Thai fight to extend his winning streak to 10 consecutive matches.

“The Kicking Machine” controlled the fight for the most part, using his kicks and high output to take advantage of his fellow Thai opponent’s hesitance to attack. The two-time Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion attempted to mount a comeback, but Superlek stood his ground till the end.

Superlek was awarded a unanimous victory by the judges as he not only defended his #1 flyweight Muay Thai ranking but also improved his career record to 137-29.
