ONE Championship returned to the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on 27 September with the 81st edition of its ONE Friday Fights series, and it certainly lived up to the hype.
The card was headlined by an enthralling featherweight Muay Thai encounter, where ONE Interim Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion and top-ranked featherweight Muay Thai contender Superbon crushed #2-ranked “Smokin” Jo Nattawut in under two minutes of their Muay Thai encounter.

The two experienced Thai strikers exchanged kicks in the opening seconds, trying to find their range. Nattawut was the first to blink as he pressed forward with an aggressive punching combination, but he was caught with a devastating counter elbow from Superbon, which left him reeling on the canvas.
Nattawut was unable to answer the referee’s count as the contest was called off at 1:43 of round one. Superbon was awarded a US$50,000 performance bonus, and he improved his overall record to an impressive 116-36.
In the co-main event, Kiamran Nabati defeated former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O with a solid display of striking as he extended his winning streak to 22-0.
The Russian started with his signature aggressive approach in the first round, and the Thai veteran was able to defend the attacks. So, Nabati kept pressing forward and was rewarded in the process.
Nong-O tried to counter with his trademark kicks and gain momentum, but Nabati responded with sheer accuracy and stayed inside the pocket to defend with ease. The Russian juggernaut secured a unanimous win and extended his unbeaten streak.
