ONE Friday Fights 99 kicked off a huge double-header weekend with another adrenaline-spiking night of Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA action inside Bangkok, Thailand’s Lumpinee Stadium, on Friday, March 7.

The main event saw Thai star Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri extend his winning streak to an impressive six in a row after he bested roaring debutant Petru Morari across three rounds of bantamweight Muay Thai action.

Despite it being his debut, Morari felt no pressure early on as he put his foot on the gas, excelling with a handful of power punches and frequent leg kicks to assert his authority.

Yod-IQ was stung by Morari’s swooping right hand at the start of round two. But that had the opposite effect than intended, waking the Thai striker as he began to swarm on the Moroccan with heavy combinations to dominate the stanza.

The 22-year-old followed up in the third round by storming Morari once again. The finish may not have come his way, but he left his nemesis with no option than to endure a final smattering before pocketing the unanimous decision win.

After going down in their first meeting at ONE Friday Fights 93, Worapon Sor Dechapan got even with deadly striker Soner Sen their 142-pound catchweight Muay Thai rematch.

The Thai striker started the front foot, as he drained Sen with frequent body shots and heavy low kicks that slowed him down.

Worapon followed up on that body of work with relentless elbows and knees in the second round. Sen attempted to find ways back in, but the Sor Dechapan star’s prowess stumped him at every turn.

Worapon’s heavy output saw him slice open “Golden Boy” with an elbow in the third round. Sen gathered himself, but he had been long outdone, and Worapon was handed the unanimous decision victory.
