Former UFC superstar and newly signed BKFC fighter Paige VanZant believe she might be positive for COVID-19 after her husband tested positive a few days ago.

Former UFC and currently BKFC fighter Paige VanZant believe she may have been infected with the COVID-19 virus quickly after her husband, Bellator fighter Austin Vanderford, was scraped from an upcoming fight at Bellator 246 due to a positive test. VanZant, a long-time women’s strawweight and flyweight in the UFC, recently signed a multi-fight contract with BKFC.

On Sunday, VanZant’s husband Austin Vanderford announced that he has been infected with COVID-19 and has tested positive twice for the coronavirus. Unfortunately, it appears that VanZant may have also caught the virus before she could make her BKFC debut.

Paige Vanzant: MY HUSBAND GAVE ME COVID!!”

VanZant took to Instagram recently and in the post, she claims that the virus came from her husband, Bellator fighter Austin Vanderford. She also went to YouTube about it and uploaded a video called “MY HUSBAND GAVE ME COVID!!”

“Well….. we are officially sick. We need your help though. So, Austin was starting to get sick and tested positive. I immediately went and got tested and it came back negative…. the next day I started getting sick and have progressively been getting worse the last few days. Today I feel terrible!!!!! I posted the full video on our YouTube and we need some advice. Do I have COVID, or something else? I have a 102 fever and tons of other symptoms. Has he been sick this whole time since he tested positive a month ago? I am so confused by all of this. We are staying at home but can’t seem to find any answers. Should I go get tested again???? Please watch, the link is in my bio. LMK.”

In a video posted on the youtube regarding the same, titled “My Husband Gave Me COVID,” VanZant explained symptoms similar to those infected by the virus, including a severe migraine headache that required “12 Advil.” She continued she and Vanderford, who said he first tested positive four weeks ago, are now quarantined for a second time after Vanderford again tested positive for the virus and was withdrawn from Bellator 246.

Hopefully, both Vanzant and her husband Austin will soon recover from COVID-19 and get back to fighting respectively. Till then both of them have to be cautious and take care of their health and hope that nothing serious happens. The MMA world wishes for a speedy recovery for this couple.
