Patricio Pitbull to Michael Chandler: “You’ll always be my b*tch”

Two-division Bellator Champion Patricio Pitbull took a shot at his former opponent Michael Chandler saying “you’ll always be my b*tch” and posted a video on Instagram.

Michael Chandler the former three-time Bellator lightweight champion may be making his UFC debut on the UFC 254 card on October 24 against either champion Khabib Nurmagomedov or interim titleholder Justin Gaethje, if something happens to force one of the headliners out of the main event on Fight Island.

Recently Chandler’s former opponent Patricio Pitbull who is the Bellator’s lightweight and featherweight champion posted a video of him Knocking out Chandler at Bellator 221. At the Bellator 221, Patricio Freire and Michael Chandler went toe-to-toe against each other and Pitbull knocked out Michael Chandler in 61-seconds. Following that win, Patricio became the lightweight champion and also a Bellator double champ.

However, Chandler has repeatedly disputed the referee stoppage. He believes that the fight should have carried on.

On Saturday, Chandler took a shot at Patricio Pitbull’s brother Patricky, who Chandler KOed devastatingly at Bellator 157 in 2016. Pitbull was not happy with Chandler posting the clip of him brutally knocking his brother out, and in turn, Pitbull took to his own Instagram to post a video of him Knocking out Chandler.

Pitbull wrote “The choice is yours… – Your spot at the table is never owned…it’s always rented and the landlord is there every single day with his hand out. – Rent is due EVERY SINGLE DAY. – If you aren’t there to make the deposit, you lose your seat at the table and get passed up by those willing to relentlessly put in the work while you talk about it. – Eventually, hard work pays off, you just have to still be standing there here when it does. – See you at the top! You’ll always be my b*tch @mikechandlermma”

There has been no love lost between the two fighters even though both of them are now going to fight in two-different organizations, they never leave an opportunity to dig shots at each other.

Michael Chandler set to make his UFC debut

Michael Chandler on the other hand is now focused on his new career in the UFC. He’s focusing on his potential opponents, Justin Gaethje or Khabib Nurmagomedov. As he signed with the UFC last month, UFC president Dana White said that he would be making Michael Chandler as the back up for UFC 254 main event.

While speaking to the media at UFC 254, Michael Chandler said that he has been watching the lightweight champion from Dagestan for a long time and is fully confident about beating him.

Extremely confident,” Chandler told MMA Fighting about beating Nurmagomedov. “Because I don’t care if it’s day 1 or day 1,000, I’ve put in my 10,000 hours in this sport and I’ve been focusing on beating Khabib since he got in the UFC. I’ve been studying him and I knew he was going to become the champion of four fights before he became champion. He’s got the champion’s mindset, he’s got the physical attributes and he’s got a style that has looked about as unbeatable as anyone we’ve ever seen in the UFC.

I’ve been training to fight Khabib for six years, eight years. Now, if the opportunity presents itself, that comes to fruition. I don’t care if it’s midnight the night before, someone gets hurt or someone gets sick, I’m going to be ready to step in. Whether it’s five weeks’ notice, five hours’ notice, or five minutes’ notice.”

Michael Chandler now is focused on his new goal that is to become the UFC lightweight champion.
