UFC lightweight Paul Felder who was in the Barclays Centre at the time of Conor McGregor’s bus attack has now come out and revealed what had exactly happened.
During the build-up to UFC 223, Khabib Nurmagomedov had an altercation with fellow Russian Artem Lobov. Lobov is a close friend and teammate of “The Notorious” Conor McGregor. In the altercation, Nurmagomedov can be seen confronting Lobov and slapping him for trash talking about him.

The Irishman was upset over the Russian’s assault of Lobov and stormed the Barclays Centre with around 40 other people and created a ruckus looking for Nurmagomedov. He later attacked the bus with Khabib in it.
McGregor’s attack had injured other fighters in the bus such as Michael Chiesa, Ray Borg, etc. He was briefly arrested but later got out on a bail.
Felder recently made an appearance on MMA Fighting’s, The MMA Hour. At the time of McGregor’s attack, Felder was in close proximity and was a witness to it. Here’s what he had to say about McGregor’s onslaught:
I couldn’t believe it. I was like, ‘What is this guy doing?’
What is he on? What’s on his mind? You have everything going on in the world and this is how you act? I couldn’t believe it.
At first I thought it was some of Khabib’s guys, but then I thought, ‘Wait, that’s Khabib’s bus’. Then I realised it was all the Irish guys and I was like ‘Oh sh*t!’
Then I saw Conor and I was like, ‘Oh my God!’ There’s Conor running around in the Barclays Centre and I couldn’t believe it. I was waiting for someone to pull out a serious weapon. Depending on who you are messing with, you don’t know what these guys are bringing with them.
It was scary. I really felt for the UFC staff. I saw some of them getting tossed around and thrown around by some of Conor’s guys. They were in their 50’s too, they were not young guys that were out there. They weren’t fist fighting. They were just making a scene, throwing sh*t at a bus. It was just stupid.
