BKFC: Paulie Malignaggi congratulates Jason Knight on win against Artem Lobov and reveals conditions to fight him

BKFC 9 featured a rematch of probably the biggest fight in the BKFC history between former UFC veterans Artem Lobov and Jason Knight.

Knight avenged his revenge as he knocked out a very tough Artem Lobov in the fifth round to establish himself a solid case for another money fight.

Knight wasted no time in calling out another BKFC staple, former boxing champion, Paulie Malignaggi. Even though Malignaggi didn’t completely oblige to Knight’s call out, he had some really good things to say about Knight and congratulated him on his victory. Malignaggi, who has had a history of hand injuries, then revealed the only condition for a BKFC return. A fight in boxing gloves, so that there would be some protection for his hands. With respect from both the ends, Knight happily obliged Malignaggi’s wish for a fight with boxing gloves. Knight claimed he will try to make the fight happen as fighting with gloves under an organization named ‘Bare Knuckle FC’ kind of beats the purpose.

“Thanks brother, I’d love to make this happen… and it’s not a disrespect thing either, I’d just like the test against a real boxer and see where I stand skill wise,” Knight posted.

Malignaggi made his BKFC debut against Lobov back in June. He suffered a unanimous decision loss however believes he got robbed.
