Paulo Costa denies ever taking PEDs; slams Yoel Romero’s accusations (video)

One of the top prospects of the UFC’s middleweight division Paulo Costa was scheduled to fight against the UFC middleweight division’s bogeyman, i.e. Yoel “The soldier of God” Romero. However, their fight has seemingly fell off a bit since then primarily due to Romero’s accusations that Costa has failed certain USADA drug tests. However, Costa has now finally declined all such allegations.

In a recent interview given to ESPN’s, Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show, Costa talked about Romero’s accusations. He claimed that Romero’s allegations are false and completely unsubstantiated. Here’s what he had to say:

Romero is a bad guy. He put this thing in the air and after that he said that, “I don’t know. I hear. I hear.” But it is not true. I have never used steroids in my life. I have never used anything to cheat the game. I feel that, I feel bad and the medication that I use is normal, it is not to increase performance. But I cannot speak a lot about all this.
