UFC’s wild welterweight fighter ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry has revealed that Youtube turned Boxer Jake Paul is much better at sparring than UFC middleweight fighter Darren Till.
Jake Paul and Mike Perry had a sparring session between them before Paul’s last fight against Ben Askren. UFC lightweight Dustin Poirier was the one who proposed this idea and said that Jake Paul should fight someone like Mike Perry. Following the suggestion, Perry and Paul had a secret sparring session. No one knew how the session went as after that sparring both of them had different scenarios to tell the world regarding their fight.
Jake Paul released a short video clip following a sparring session with the UFC welterweight, where Perry can be heard saying, “You kicked my ass.”
He was light work
In his own words “you kicked my ass”

Right after this Perry released his version of the fight and explained how the sparring went between the two.
I was asking @jakepaul and his team to help me be great. We sparred 6 rounds. The 5th and the 6th rounds were my best rounds. He caught me at first then I made the adjustments. Showed up to spar just me my girl and my baby.

In another video posted by Mike, we can see him landing some shots on Paul.
“The only clip we got. Go ahead and post some @jakepaul , I took your best shots and walked you down all day. We all know I’m not hard to hit but I’m gonna focus on that now. You know there was no danger in boxing a wrestler last night and you gave me a chance to punch you in the face (and I did) and I respected it but you mistook that and that’s my fault. I show up with my girl and baby so I don’t bring drama. I show up and fight. I was a fan after you sparred me. You showed heart and you’re already successful and you seemed to have a strong team (power in numbers) but you’re a spoiled brat and I’m rich in life. You’re broke with a bunch of fake yes men around you that you pay for. I don’t fuck with nobody and all the money in the world can’t make you real like me.” he wrote in the caption of his post.
Mike Perry says Jake Paul better than Till
Now in the latest interview, Mike said that he feels he learned a lot in that sparring session with Jake Paul and he also feels Paul might be better than Darren Till.
“Jake Paul was a better spar than Till,” Mike told The Mac Life. “That was an awkward situation with the gloves and sh*t. Yeah, definitely though.
“Making you think he’s gonna engage then doesn’t. He’s got long reach, he’s got different tricks, he taught me something. First-round he started doing something and I was like ‘okay’ … it wasn’t doing damage, but it was like keeping him at bay.”
