Shinju Nozawa-Auclair (“Juju”), born on 29th October 1993 in New York and grew up in San Francisco, is a female mix martial artist. She is also known by the name “Juju”. She is the 1st ranked of 44 active Michigan women (pound for pound)

She was encouraged and motivated by the UFC event that starred Paige VanZant a few years ago, but couldn’t try it as she was in Nursing school in San Francisco and didn’t had enough time.

Her boyfriend eventually landed with the Central Michigan football team, and the couple moved to Michigan.

While living in a new place, she had time to kill, so she tried boxing classes. Boxing boosted her self-confidence and made her strong to deal with her tough relationship.

According to Juju, her background in Ballet gives her a physical advantage, as dance requires a complete understanding of your body.

On 30th July 2017, Shinju defeated Sheena Brandenburg in Rizin Fighting Federation – World Grand Prix 2017 1st Round via submission.
