At the co-main event of UFC Montevideo, Mike Perry fought Vicente Luque. It was a gruesome fight and an extremely close fight. The judges ruled the fight in favour of Vicente Luque (28-29, 29-28, 29-28).
But the highlight of the fight was a fractured nose of Mike Perry which occurred after Vincente Luque landed a vicious knee in the final moments of the third round.
Mike Perry successfully underwent surgery in Montevideo and is expected to remain in Uruguay for a few days and recover. Even though Perry didn’t win, he seems to be in a good mood. He took to Social media to post pictures of himself saying he wants to be remembered by his fans.

“FOTN ! It takes 2 ! Thanks for the bonus, you didn’t have to do my face like that tho sheesh. Cursed with this chin, should’ve had my guard up like you. Ko or not one significant strike can do the job. When I’m healed we’ll train so you can beat these wrestlers. Congrats @luquevicente !” Perry concluded.
