On Oct. 11 PFL 7 took place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. There were action-packed fights that took place at Arena, but there was also some type of altercation taking cage-side between prominent MMA manager Abe Kawa of First round management and Ali Abdelaziz of Dominance MMA.
In an incident first reported by MMA Junkie, Ali Abdelaziz reportedly assaulted Abe Kawa. According to Kawa, he simply went to Abdelaziz to talk who “subsequently struck him in the face with a closed fist on the right side of his face for no reason.”
Now Ali is facing two separate battery charges in Las Vegas and he will be facing the judge for one of the charges next month. The punching incident was also witnessed by the Police officers who were present in the VIP section.
Abe’s brother Malki Kawa, who is also a manager took to Twitter and went off on Ali Abdelaziz.
“One day (really soon) I’ll tell you guys the truth about my ‘altercations’ with that rat,” he wrote. “But so we’re clear, he never ko’d me, never dazed me, never did anything but throw a sucker punch and then I got grabbed. I never said anything because BOTH TIMES he called to apologize. Both time’s (sic). Like a little bitch. But now I see he did that to avoid me pressing charges. Which I was never going to do.
“But like I said, I’ll give all the details later. So we’re clear, any friend of his is an enemy of mine. We can fight all day, but coming at anyone in my family and you cross the line.”
