Tonight’s UFC Vegas 104 event brought the Octagon back to the Apex, and four competitors—including Priscila Cachoeira—went home with performance bonuses.
The middleweight rematch between Marvin Vettori and Roman Dolidze was the main event on tonight’s bout card. The fight lasted 25 minutes and was a fierce, back-and-forth contest. Although Marvin Vettori seemed to get off to a good start, Roman Dolidze’s offensive pressure and volume were the deciding factor in rounds two through five. The Georgian managed to keep “The Italian Dream” on his heels for most of the last 20 minutes with a string of noteworthy goals. A well-earned unanimous decision victory was given to Dolidze following five rounds of competition.
A welterweight bout between Chidi Njokuani and Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos was the co-headliner of UFC Vegas 104. Chidi put up another strong performance in the fight, overwhelming Dos Santos with his range and front kicks to win via TKO in the second round. In the second round, Njokuani gave Dos Santos a knee and swiftly used ground and pound to end him (watch that here).
At the post-fight news conference after tonight’s bout, UFC executives declared that four combatants will receive performance bonuses.
