Having remained undefeated in the Octagon since October 2019, Rafael Fiziev landed another Performance of the Night as he knocked out RDA in the fifth round of their main event clash this Saturday night at the UFC Apex Facility.

With a six fight win streak further solidifying his place in the 155-pound division, the 10th ranked lightweight issued a challenge to former two time UFC Lightweight title challenger Justin Gaethje.

“Yeah, you know I want to fight with Gaethje,” Fiziev said in the post fight press conference, “… Gaethje, if you want to fight, one more yellow guy with yellow hairs (Charles Oliveira), we need to know who’s best.”

“That’s a good match for you and me. If you’re ready, and you’re not scared, don’t talk sh*t and let’s go,” the Kazakhstani fighter added.

Currently ranked third in the lightweight division, Gaethje has won only once in his last three outings in the Octagon. “Highlight” was last seen in action against Charles Oliveira in the main event of UFC 274 in May for the title, but was forced into submission by Oliveira.

Nonetheless, Gaethje remains one of the most exciting and sought after names in the Lightweight roster and “Ataman” himself admits it would be no walk in the park when they lock horns.

“I think he would maybe make my face like this, maybe more hard,” Fiziev continued, “He’s dangerous also and a big challenge for me. I think he has a lot of chance to knock me out, and I have a lot of chance to knock him out. That’s a good fight, I think, for fans also.” [H/T MMA Junkie]
